Who your contract is with
These terms apply when you book a visit on this website, when you accept in writing a booking we took with you by phone, by message or in person, and when you accept a written quote from us. Together with what was booked — the service, the day, the arrival window and the price — they are the general conditions of your contract.
Your contract is with Melt Clean.

Where we work and what we clean
The booking form only offers the areas where we are open for booking.
Mallorca: we clean at your home.
- Priced online and booked straight away: sofa & upholstery cleaning, mattress cleaning, rug cleaning, carpet cleaning, stain treatment and window cleaning.
- Priced by written quote: pressure washing.
How booking works
Booking a service that is priced online works like this:
- Choose your area, the service and what needs cleaning. The price appears as soon as you have chosen, before we ask for anything about you.
- Pick a day and an arrival window from the diary for your area.
- Give your name, phone number, e-mail address and the address of the visit. You may add a note and photos.
- Check what you have chosen. Until you book you can change every choice — from the summary, or by going back a step: use that to correct a mistake.
- Right above the button, the form sums up the booking once more: who your contract is with, what is booked and when, the total and your right to withdraw. The button names the amount. Pressing it is an order with an obligation to pay: you agree to pay that price, when and how these terms say.
Keep the booking slip: it holds your reference and the link to your booking page. There you can see the booking, add it to your calendar, print it, move or cancel it and withdraw from it, as the sections below allow.
We keep a record of every booking — what you chose, the price, when you booked and the version of these terms you accepted. Your booking page shows the booking itself; you can ask us for the full record at any time.
If the window you chose is taken before you press the button, no booking is made and the form tells you so.
Booking by phone, by message or in person
You can also book with us by phone, by WhatsApp or e-mail, or in person. We then send you the booking in writing — an e-mail with the link to your booking page, or the link itself — and nothing binds you yet.
Your booking page shows what the booking form shows above its button: who your contract is with, what is booked and when, the total, how and when you pay, the change rules and your right to withdraw. The booking binds you only once you accept it there, in writing, with the button that names the amount — and when you accept, and which version of these terms you read, are recorded.
Your 14 days to withdraw run from the day you accept. Until you accept, you can cancel the booking on the same page, free of charge.
Work priced by written quote
You describe the job on the quote form and we reply by e-mail with one written price. If you want the work done, we book the visit with you at that price and send it to you in writing, as for a booking by phone. Nothing is booked, and there is no contract, until you accept it on your booking page; the 14 days to withdraw run from the day you accept.
A written quote stands for 30 days from the date we send it.
Prices and the minimum visit
Every price includes IVA (21%), the Spanish VAT.
The price you see before you book is the price of the visit: it is worked out from the price list for your area, the same way for everybody.
Some items are priced as an estimate, marked “from”. Before any work starts, the technician checks what is to be cleaned and agrees the final price with you. It differs from the estimate only if what we find differs from what was described: the size, the number of seats or pieces, or the material. If you do not accept a final price above the estimate, no work is done and you pay nothing for the visit. Nothing more is done or charged without your agreement.
The minimum visit in Mallorca is €119, except for Window cleaning (€49), Pressure washing (€149), which have their own: if what you book comes to less than the minimum that applies to it, the price is raised to that amount, and you see it in the summary before you book.
Payment
You pay in advance, when you book, by card online on your booking page. A card payment is made through our payment provider, Stripe: you type your card details into Stripe’s own secure form, and Melt never sees them. A visit priced as an estimate is paid once the final price has been agreed at the visit. Anything these terms give back — after a withdrawal or a cancellation — is returned the same way you paid.
Changing or cancelling
Cancelling is free of charge until your arrival window opens. You can move the visit online free of charge up to 24 hours before the arrival window; after that, write to us to move it.
To move or cancel the visit, use your booking page (the link is on your booking slip) or write to us through the contact page.
If we have to cancel or move your visit — because the technician is ill, for example, or for reasons beyond our control — we tell you as soon as we can and offer you, as you prefer, a new date or a full refund of anything you have paid.
None of this limits your right to withdraw within 14 days, set out in the next section.
Your right to withdraw
If your visit falls within those 14 days, you are asked to request that expressly — on the booking form, or on your booking page when you accept a booking we took with you: you ask us to do the work inside the withdrawal period, and you confirm that you know the right ends once the work has been fully carried out. If you then withdraw after the work has started, you pay for the part already done, in proportion to the whole.
Once the work has been fully carried out at your express request, the right to withdraw no longer applies.
How to withdraw — online from your booking page, or in the other ways listed there — the statutory information and the model form are on the right of withdrawal page.
Your photos
You may add photos when you book or ask for a quote. They are optional and help the technician prepare. They are kept private: the location and camera data are removed before they are stored, and only staff whose role allows it can open them.
Please keep people and documents out of the frame.
How long we keep them is on the privacy page.
Referral codes
A customer who has booked with us may be given a six-character referral code to pass on. The conditions:
- If you were given a code, you enter it in the referral field of the booking form. It is optional.
- Each code can be used once, on one booking, in the area it was issued for.
- A code cannot be used on a booking made by the person it was given to.
- A code does not change the price of the booking it is used on.
- What the holder of a code receives is what we told them in writing when we gave it to them, and we record it against the code. The code promises nothing else.
- If a code cannot be applied, the booking is still made; the code is simply not linked to it.
Complaints
You can complain through the contact form, and every complaint gets a reference. The details are on the complaints page.
We answer in writing within 15 days of receiving your complaint.
You also have the right to an official complaint form (hoja de reclamación), free of charge.
We have not joined a consumer arbitration board. If we cannot settle your complaint you can still turn to the Junta Arbitral de Consum de les Illes Balears (the Balearic consumer arbitration board) or to another body competent to hear it; our written answer names one and says whether we will take part.
If something goes wrong
Before the visit, please make sure the technician can get in at the agreed time, and tell us about anything that matters for the work: damage that was already there, stains that have been treated before, pets, or anything hazardous.
Some marks are permanent: bleach, burns, old dye. We test first and tell you what is realistic before we start — not after.
We answer for the work we do as the law provides. If something is not right, tell us as soon as you can — with photos if you have them — so that we can look at it.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes the rights the law gives you as a consumer, including your rights when a service is not carried out as agreed.
Your personal data
We use your details to carry out and manage your booking. What we keep, why, for how long and your rights are on the privacy page; what this site keeps in your browser is on the cookies and storage page.
Language
These terms, the withdrawal information and the other legal documents are published in English, Spanish and German. All three versions have the same value; where they differ, the one more favourable to you applies.
You can book in English, and in Spanish or German wherever the booking pages are published in that language. Whatever language you book in, what binds you is always also said in Spanish: the summary right above the booking button, and on your booking page what each statement and button that accepts, withdraws from or cancels the booking means. The e-mails we send about a booking, and the model withdrawal form, are in the language you booked in and in Spanish.
Applicable law and courts
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, that never takes away the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. You can take a claim to the courts of the place where you live; we will never ask you to go to any other court.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms — when a price list, a service or the law changes, for example. The version you accepted — when you booked on this website, or when you accepted a booking we took with you — is the one that applies to your booking, its fees and its change rules included. It is recorded with it, and your booking page links to that version, so you can read it again after these terms change.
