Manacor town itself is mostly lived-in terraced housing and flats, with townhouses in the older streets. Dust is the main problem here. Inland streets near busy roads coat glass quickly, and a bright afternoon sun shows every streak. Yards and terraces gather the same dust and can be pressure washed. Indoors we also clean the sofas and chairs a family uses every day, and rugs from rooms that see a lot of traffic.

Good to know

Porto Cristo is a different job. Houses and flats climb from a narrow inlet, and those at the front take spray and salt. The side streets are tight in the holiday season, when coach traffic for the caves adds to the queue, so an early start is often the easy option, and you should tell us if you have your own parking.

Cales de Mallorca is small and made up largely of apartment complexes above the cliffs. Rental flats there often change hands weekly in summer, and each balcony door counts as glass. If you look after several, say so when you write.
