Up in the town, the houses are older and the windows smaller, often with wooden shutters and thick stone walls. Streets round the Wednesday market fill up in the morning, so another day is simpler if we need to stop near your door.

Access is the thing to mention. Many of the villa roads above the port are narrow, steep and shared, with tight turns and private gates. Tell us if a long vehicle would struggle, whether there is room to park inside, and who opens up if you are away. A lot of these houses stand empty for weeks at a time, and arrival day is the usual reason to book.

From our base in Felanitx, Andratx is about as far as the island goes, so the drive is a larger part of the price here than in most towns.
